Parental Co-operation
Only part of the child’s education takes place while at school. At home the parents and other elders are the teachers. If the process of education is to be continuous, parents and teachers should work in close co-operation. It is, therefore, essential that guardians scrutinize the home work assigned for each day. They should also ensure that the work allotted is completed independently as far possible. Home Work assigned in the diary must bear the guardian’s full signature every day. It is essential for all guardians to be present for Parent-teacher Meetings. They are also advised to keep in touch with class and subject teachers whenever the student’s progress is in doubt.
Parents are advised to seek the counsel of the Principal before engaging private tutors for their children. Guardians may not engage teachers of this school as private tutors for their children without the express permission of the Principal. The Principal is available for the parents and guests between 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 noon on Saturday only. Guardians are requested to ensure that their children do not carry valuables to school.
